During the centuries its history has been first connected to the Republic of Florence (the Guelphs and the Ghibellines), then with the Grand Duchy of Tuscany (during which period it was used as a hunting lodge by the Counts Miari Pelli Fabbroni) to finally interlace with the Kingdom of Italy, during which Florence was for a certain period capital, and the castle even hosted King Victor Emmanuel II. This exquisite holiday home in Chianti consists in 7 spacious self-catering apartments, tastefully furnished, all restored in respect of the traditional Tuscan style, each with private entrance and garden area.
